Well, there’s an app for that! I’m coming at you with a blog post to help make your wedding day planning more enjoyable and definitely easier. Wedding planning takes a lot of time and effort and can you believe they make apps now to help the wedding planning process a little less stressful on you? With these apps you can pretty much plan your wedding from anywhere! So let’s jump in!
The Knot Wedding Planner App definitely deserves the spotlight. Not to mention it’s free! This app is a one stop shop for finding your style, building your own wedding website, building a wedding registry, finding incredible vendors, and creating a day-of timeline. With The Knot you can compare vendors and view their reviews from previous weddings. Everyone loves to see what other’s are saying and The Knot let’s you do that.
The Knot has so many other amazing features– the checklist reminders, the guest list tool, the budget tracker and so much more.
Zola is another amazing wedding planning app. This website features a budgeting tool, a free wedding website, wedding venues and vendors and even invitations and save the dates! They even have a code right now to save 50% off your first order of invitations/save the dates with code: SAVE50.
They make it so easy to start a gift registry. Plus you and your guests get free shipping and returns! This website also has a wide variety of amazing vendors to choose from, including wedding photographers, videographers, planners etc. They make it incredibly simple to find vendors near you.
It’s not really groundbreaking news to list Pinterest as one of the top apps for your wedding planning. But I can’t not mention this incredible tool for your day. If you’re not farmilar with Pinterest, it offers a wide variety of wedding inspiration for your day. Pinterest includes making a type of vision boards for photo inspiration, beautiful venues, color palette’s, wedding flowers, decor, etc the list can go on and on. If you haven’t already made a Pinterest, it’s definitely time to get one started for your big day!
Pinterest is just an all around amazing tool to use for inspiration for your wedding day. And for even more convenience, add the Pinterest plug-in to your browser to easily save anything you see on the web.
Mint is a great app for setting and sticking to your budget for your day. Weddings can be expensive and it is an important day but Mint helps your keep track of what you’re spending and how you’re spending it. Mint allows you to link your card and bank accounts to a secure spot and set your budget for each category: like clothes, accessories, decorations, flowers and more.
Another amazing feature of the Mint App is that is will send you alerts and text messages when you’re going over your budget. It was also email you about a payment that may be due for one of your vendors. Mint makes is easy to check your spending quickly and efficiently all in one place.
Etsy is an incredible tool for planning your wedding, they have anything and everything you can think of for your big day. This website has unique shoes, wedding dresses, robes, ceremony decor and so much when it comes to wedding planning. I personally bought my wedding checklist off of here to make sure I wasn’t forgetting anything! I also love this platform because you are supporting small businesses. WIN WIN WIN.
WeddingHappy is an easy-to-use wedding app for managing wedding planning tasks, payments and vendors. This app is pretty straight forward and includes checklists of all the important things to do before your wedding day. With complete checklists broken into categories, WeddingHappy makes it easy to get things done. Not only do they have all of this, but they even have a countdown of how many days are left until your big day!
Okay, where was Postable when I got married?! Postable is an incredible resource for sending thank you cards after your day. Postable uses 100% recycled cards and everything is customizable. The best part about Postable is that they mail the cards for you! They even have patented “real” handwriting fonts that look like the real thing. Postable also offers free envelopes, free addressing & mailing, all post consumer recycled and huge volume discounts!
Okay, this app is incredible. Start with a favorite color for your wedding day and PANTONE Studio app gives you all the best complimentary colors and helps you find amazing color palette’s for your big day.
Minted is a great source for all your stationary needs. They have a beautiful letter-pressed option for all your invitations or save the dates. Minted not only offers printing for invitations but they also offer thank you cards, table numbers, place cards, wedding favors and so much more.
